The cave near the pond in Redwoods island is your best bet. Take a frog in there and you’ll get plenty of paste. Hopefully you have a breed frog with Hugh stats as that cave is full of high level mobs of insects and the air will kill you if you don’t wear a scuba tank + googles or haz suit helmet. budznbooze.

There's only one cave the baryonx doesn't fit inside (the NW one where no ridable can fit) gets a lot of hp per level, has large aoe to fight bats and meganura, heals like crazy off fish meat, jumps unlike the bear, and is the best cave mount in the water sections.

Yep, the new mechanics prevent you from riding a leeched dino. Swamp cave is the hardest "land" cave of the island. Definitely do not underestimate that cave. I clear that cave with my frog too and yeah, at some point I also have to leave, mainly because of anthropleuras.
